Statues and sculptures keep the memory of fallen heroes alive, as does the Wall of Names. Other significant features to look forward to in the future, is the interactive library, the museum and a variety of natural features, which together, will become a place where South African citizens can retrace the history of the country, and visitors can discover the diversity of this magnificent country. Freedom Park commemorates past victories and reminds us all of our roots; giving South Africa a monument to be proud of.

Freedom Park’s Wall of Names honors over 75,000 heroes who lost their lives in major South African conflicts, including the South African Wars, World Wars I & II, and the liberation struggle.
